The development comprises two 7-storey residential blocks sitting on two adjacent lots separated by natural topography in between. The sites have a relatively long frontage but shallow, bounded by a steep rising retaining wall and rock slope behind.

Our approach is to design a pair of buildings different in layout yet sharing certain common design features, complimenting each other in a curvilinear form. The result is a pleasing, flowing movement instead of two flattish facades, which enhances the streetscape akin to the high class ambience of the neighbouurhood.

The two residential towers were shifted and turned to position themselves away from overlooking each other and at the same time, directed themselves towards the view – the Repulse Bay. The buildings, each an entity of its own and with individual entrances, were linked together by a connecting deck, sharing common recreation facilities.

The unsightly retaining wall and rock slope at the rear was hydroseeded and transformed into a nice green wall.
